Remote works except 1 button

So I have a Pavillion Entertainment Laptop DV6809wm I think. It says DV6000 on the top of the screen. On bottom the tag reads Product: DV6700, and warrant info states its a DV6809wm. I hope this all helps. Well this laptop came with Vista Home Premium 32bit. Since Windows 7  has teh same requirements as Vista I installed 7 Ultimate 64. All the drivers installed correctly. Only problem is the media center remote. Every button works except the green windows media center button. Everything else works but that one button. The quickplay buttons dont work either, but I uninstalled HP media quickplay, so thats not a biggie. How can I get the green button to work?
