Webcam issues on Compaq Presario cq56-219wm

hey guys! I just noticed that in d userguide that came with my notebook, they showed with description that my notebook has a webcam, but i've tried to access it all to no avail. I wanna know if there's anytin i can do to help this situation. Thanks.

As per specs found over here , the Notebook doesnt come with an integrated webcam. Your particular Notebook model has an option to add an integrated webcam if its customized and purchased from HP directly.

The user guide is in a generalized form and do not be confused regarding specs.

Your only options to buy an external webcam or install an integrated webcam yourself by ordering internal Webcam module in case if your LCD screen bezel looks like anything like this shown in picture

The Webcam module (Part#:626656-001) is hardware part which you can order from HP or elsewhere and install by yourself. It is (7) shown in picture below.

I have the same model and just recently bought the webcam module. The order did not come with a cable. Does my display module already have the webcam cable inside or do I need to purchase the Display Cable Kit?

I wanted to know the same thing.  If I order the webcam 626656, does it come with the cable?  The computer is a cq56-115dx.
