Windows Media Center Internet TV

I have a new Compaq Presario CQ56 laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium.

 

The option to download and setup internet tv is missing from the TV section of windows media center.  The option for TV tuner and channel guides are ther but I do not want to set up a tuner.  I want to get old shows etc from the internet.

 

I have tried many solutions over a period of several days.  Nothing works.  This forum and many others seem to have numerous users with the same problem.

 

I do not know if this is a Microsoft or HP problem but I need a resoluton.  If there is an update or fix or download I would appreciate knowing about it and how to access it,

I am having the same problem with a HP G42 I just purchased.  Media center internet TV will not load.  Have you found a solution?
