hp remote

i was wondering if thiers any prgogram that plays any media and works with the hp remote i know windows media center dose

but it dosent play mp4s and downloaded viedo files so  thier is i tunes but it dosent play avi files so... i need one that will play 

all of em and work with the remote

codecs  get the quicktime alternative and realtime alternative. then the music should play flawlessly on any media player windows and itunes

u need to intstall k-lite mega codec pack. go to http://www.codecguide.com/download_mega.htm and click 'download mega'.

intalling this app. will let u play all files including avi,mkv,mp4 files on windows media centre & windows media player.

when  windows media centre & windows media player can play almost all media files,there is no need of another media player.

another software u can use is the divx which has the dicx codec which supports windows media centre.

but i recommend u to use k-lite codec pack.

same thing he said i have te smae codecs only i got them from a friend so i cant say that thats where i got them but yes also install the k-lite codec pack
