I just got a new HP laptop and I'm trying to figure out how to watch TV through the HP Mediasmart Movies & TV.  Every instruction that I've read says to open, select chanel.... but my program just shows a big blank screen with "all" writen at the top, not at all as the program is described anywhere.  How do I get the program to find chanels?

Do you have a choice of HP Mediasmart Live TV ?  I think that's what you need. If you open that and go to settings there is a set up for your tuner. Select antenna (ATSC) if you are using an antenna. Under set up tab you can set up the tuner. Anyway that's how my laptop is.
