regarding TV tuner card

I have HP Pavilion dv 4 -1318tu notebook and it dint detect Tv tuner card.

so please tell me how can i do for that.

Which operating system is installed and is it 32 or 64-bit?

You're confused? How do you think I feel after reading your last reply?

You were the person who bought the notebook and who asked for help with a tv tuner. That tells me that you must know there is a tuner in the laptop. Otherwise why did you ask the original question?

I don't have the notebook in hand. You do. Check the receipts that came with the notebook and then let me know. If you install the driver and all of a sudden your operating system tells you there is one installed or your remote begins to work. Well that should also tell you something.

Just be aware that we on the forum depend on notebook and desktop owners to know what is in their PC's and to tell us what is wrong. We really don't have ESP.

Try this.

go to control panel, click on

hardware and sound

devices and printers

device manager

sound video and game controllers

hp atsc/analog tv tuner ( maybe PAL?)

it will list the tuner if installed
