tv tuner on the hp pavilion dv7 1019tx

i have troubles tuning the comp to the tv signal. the sgnal is via a wall cable RF type. the comp can not detect the source data, however when a normal tv is plug into the same cable, it tunes into 50channels.  i have used windows media centre and quickplay to tune the comp in but no success yet. regards bruce

I have bought a DV7 2150ez, also with integraded tv-tuner. I've installed Win7 64 bit. I downloaded also all the driver on the HP Site. Everything works except the TV Tuner.

If I look in Device manager it displays the driver but as a x86 driver. So, problem is that at the moment a valid 64bit driver for win 7 for this tv tuner doesn't exist.

I will try to install a virtual xp pro 32bit via vmware and see if can have it work that way.

I have an hp dv7 2200 cto I installed a tv tuner and ran the driver from hp web sight. Try that be sure to get the drivers for the hp pavilion dv7 2200 cto
