tx2z - MediaSmart or Windows Media Center won't play vob dvd files

Anybody know how to get Windows Media Center to act like Windows Media Center or are we stuck with MediaSmart DVD Player as the only option?

 

It used to be you could have the Windows Media Center play your DVD library off your hard disk, but with the tx2-1020us, it just redirects you to the MediaSmart software which is crippled/incapable of that.

 

Any suggestions on how to get WMC back to a functioning state?
