I cannot switch off the screen saver funtion.  I've selected "none" on the personalization page but the screen saver still activates.  I've changed the time-out to 600 minutes and it still activates within 10-15 min.  I have a program for uploading video that takes time to run and once the screen saver activates the program is stopped.  Since I don't have much use for the screen saver I'd like to turn it off but can't.  thoughts?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

It may not be the screensaver that is the problem.

Go into Control Panel --> Power Options and check the various options there.  There is one about when the screen is blanked.  That might be the problem.  Set it to "never" to prevent it from blanking.

Good Luck
