Have a Pavilion dm4. Recently cracked it by accident and now looking where can have it fixed. Local technicians dont wanna take the laptop as they're afraid to give guarantee after. The problem is that I cant go to the official store where it was bought as I moved to another country.
Maybe somebody can suggest where can i get it fixed by mailing (posting somewhere) or... ?

What country are you in and what is the full model number of the laptop ?
HP has videos so you can fix it yourself. It's not that difficult.
This place ships world-wide.

Thanks, but not the serial number, the part number or the model number on the underside of the laptop. One of the mods. will remove the serial number as soon as he/she notices.
If you go to the top of this page you will see "Support and Drivers" to find out what screen size you're running I need one of the other two numbers.

Alright, sorry! Here is the Model: dm4 - 1140SA
Unfortunatelly, local technicial told that he can't find any official part seller for this laptop. Was trying to find it as well, found just on somekind american company, but not sure if can trust them, if the quality will be same.

You can trust these people.
You're running a 14 inch diagonal screen with an LED backlight and a resolution of 1366 X 768. The matte one is out of stock, but the glossy is available. If you Google around you should be able to find a matte one. As for the quality they are all mass produced in China by Samsung, Chi-Mei etc. HP does not manufacture the own screens as far as I know or at least I have never seen the HP logo on any of them.
Looked around and this may be matte, best to contact them.
Here are your specs. too.
