HP Recommended
ZBook 15 G3 and Thunderbolt3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

ZBook 15 G3, running Windows 7 Pro with Thunderbolt 3. E231 monitor connected via display port connector.

System will not boot up with the laptop lid/top/cover closed. The monitor will display all white then looks like booting Windows 4 color window shows, then white lines and red lines at top of screen, then screen turns off no signal. Open laptop and it is on, power light, but no display on laptop either. Have set to when laptop closed do nothing, E231 is primary screen. Tried every combination of screen settings. No luck. Have to leave laptop open to use.

Also wireless mouse and keyboard very unstable. Used on a Dell as it is a Dell wireless keyboard and mouse by Logitech. Mouse just skips or fails to respond at times. Key board fails to do anything after a short time not using or just when ever it feels like it. Connected wired keyboard as work around for now. Local IT at company does not have soultion for this newly issued unit.
