I have DV-6000 notebook and recently upgraded it to Windows 8(64 bit) but its graphics driver was not installed I am still waiting for VGA driver for my notebook.

There are lots of dv6000 models.
Go to your notebook's support and driver page, download and run the Vista 64 bit graphics driver for your specific model.
You will probably get an Unsupported Operating System error. Close out of any error windows.
Go to the device manager and expand the display adapters section. Click on the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Click on the Driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the "Browse my computer for software" method and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the video driver.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\spXXXXX, where XXXXX is the file number of the video driver you downloaded and ran.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
After you reboot, you should have decent video.

I have done the same. but when my notebook restarts, it has blank screen becuase of driver problem. same drvier is working with Windows-7 very well.
