When I connect my PC to the Computer using HDMI cable, the display flashes., the image appears on the TV briefly and then goes blank (no Signal. The image reappears on the PC but no signal to TV Do you need to switch the graphics to enable HDMI output?

Most HP's have a function key for this. Mine is on f4, it has a picture of a screen. Or press windows key + X and the windows mobility center will pop up. Click connect display.

I have a newer hp less than yr old had windows 8 put windows 10 beta on it, the hdmi worked for 3 mo and then I used vga 1 time now hdmi will not work at all..... how do I fix this???
