OMEN Laptop - 17t gaming - w15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this laptop just in December, and after 2 months, the screen start flickering as I come home. Screen flickering with many stripes of color across the screen.

This is very disappointing for the gaming series of the Omen..

It's unfortunate in a newly purchased high end notebook.

Do a hard reset, check if issue is resolved: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768

Does this happen in external monitor, after you connect laptop to monitor through HDMI port?

Thanks for replying, luckily I'm using 2 external monitor so it doesn't affect me... only the laptop's monitor is having this issues. It fixed itself for like 2 hours yesterday, and now when I turn it on, the flickering start appears again.

-- Issue only happen to Laptop screen, the 2 external screen I'm connecting to is fine

In that case the issue is with omen display screen or display cable/connector alone. Is there flickering when you start moving the notebook display?

You've to get it checked by certified HP technician to get it repaired. No other way to rectify it. Fortunately you're within warranty and everything is covered.

Hellow
Keep calm its a common issue which generally occurs when graphics drivers and certain settings are not appropriate .
You can solve it by going to GE FORCE experience which is a program for Nvidia GPU and under that program simply check for lattest drivers and software and if available download and install it and then check Intel integrated GPU updates under device manager and if available windows will automatically dounload and install and during both the installations screen may flikker ,so keep easy .
under HP support website download and install latest chipset drivers and this will solve your issue.
If not try running the application under X86 application mode to solve compatibility issue.

Thank you
If this works accept it as solution and hit the like.

I have a similar problem for the past 2 days. My OMEN by HP 15-ax215tx  screen started flickering with lots of vertical lines. But this happens when I move the screen or even when am typing. It's kinda stable right after a restart. How do I fix this?
