Ok, I'm just going to run through my process just incase I have got this wrong.

I press F2, get the test page, I have my mouse unplugged and the pointer doesnt respond. I use the mouse to navigate to 'component test '. I have a long list of tests: processor, Memory, Hard drive, AC adapter, Audio, Battery, Keyboard, Mouse, Network, Optical Drive, System Board, USB Port, Video, Wireless Module.

I have ran a test on Hard drive and System board and they have both passed.

I go on mouse and I have 2 options, 'Pointer test' and 'Drag and Drop' test.

I went on Pointer test and it asks me to move the pointer into the box, I can't do that as my trackpad doesnt work, so I press enter to finish the test. It says I've failed the test and the following

FAILURE ID: Q4VBP3-7K1852-MFPWL1-G26K03

PRODUCT ID: L2W54EA#ABU

I then go back and run the Drag and drop test. Again it asks me to do something into the box, I can so I press enter. I fail the test and I get the following.

 FAILURE ID: Q4VBP3-7K1852-MFPWL1-G26K03

PRODUCT ID: L2W54EA#ABU

I hope this helps

Best

Joe
