Hello, I want to know the price to repair the screen to my laptop..bought it in September of last year..everything else works..currently located in Mexico so will be sending it to the office in Mex..but bought it through Best Buy in Arizona, an estimate would be appreciated, thank you.

Is the display broke or cracked?

Touchscreen display is very expensive. It comes as whole assembly and is not spared separately by HP and in most of the consumer notebooks.

If you provide exact product number, full model name of your laptop, Then we'll be able to search the display unit part number through HP part store or online sellers.

Replacing it from HP directly would cost you even more. If you bought it from US, you may have to send it to HP USA for repair as the exact HP part may not be available in Mexico.

What is the cause of the issue?

The screen is cracked, it shows clearly but the screen sensor is failing and the product number is W2K42UA#ABA, Model is m6-aq003dx; The cause is accidental drop, obviously the warranty I have on the laptop doesn't cover it.

You need 15.6" diagonal FHD IPS UWVA multitouch-enabled edge-to-edge glass (1920 x 1080).
