Just bought the laptop today and did a fresh install of Win 7 Pro 64bit. Everything is OK except the Wireless Intel Centrino N + WiMAX 6150 driver will not load. All other drivers loaded with no issues. I have downloaded the driver on th HP site, I have download the driver in Intel site and still won't install. It's very strange because when I did execute the driver from the Intel site, it did finish installing but in device manager I still get a "!" mark beside the device. My wireless adapter is working that's what I am using right now to connect to the internet.
I even tried unnistalling the Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software and re-installing it and still the only one that does install correctly is the "Intel Centrino Wireless-N 6150" and "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" and the "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2".
Can anyone help me out, it's bothering the heck out of me.
thanks in advance

It's an "!" yellow exclamation mark. It means that the driver is not installed for the device.

I see you did a fresh install, where did you get the drivers that allow the SATA drive to be seen during the initial load? I have been attempting this and cant find the driver that will allow for a clean install.

Hi Marty, what you are saying is different from what I was experiencing, I never had any issues loading my copy of Windows 7 Pro. I did not have to install any extra drivers to have the SATA HDD accesible. You may want to start a new thead and see what happens. Good luck.

i had the same problem. i tried several times with the cd approch but didn't work. I had to resort to Win7tousb (install via USB) and that did it.
