Hi:

For those with Broadcom wireless cards, particularly the BCM 4313, forum members have reported marked improvement in their wireless connection after installing this latest driver for Windows 7.

It is good for the following Broadcom WLAN adapters:

Supported Devices and Features
Broadcom 802.11g
Broadcom 802.11a-g
Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/draft-n
Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/n
Broadcom 43225 802.11b/g/n
Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n

Below is the link to the driver:

File name: sp57965.exe

Even with a new driver the Broadcom 4313 chipset can't cope with high channels, has only one country setting (United States) and doesn't support speeds over 65 Mbps. I am thinking of replacing the Broadcom wireless card with an Intel one.

My 4321 gets 130 MBPS all the time.

try creating a new SSID name and creating a new wireles profile.  Worked for me.  Went from 72mbps to 150mbps.

Thank you so much Paul for the link. I have a problem with my wifi adapter before and tried many broadcom drivers but still it didn't work. The updated broadcom driver you post works perfectly well to my hp laptop. keep up the good work paul.

Hi:

You can only do that if the Intel card you want is listed in your notebook's service manual and it has to have the HP part # on it or it will not work.

Don't worry - my brother-in-law works for an HP authorized service center and he ordered an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 a/b/g/n card for me from the HP catalogue. The card is listed in the service manual.

I  have a Broadcom 4313GN wifi/bluetooth card and it will not install on a DV6-6153cl lsptop everytime it boots up I get a device not supported error. The model number of the card is on the approved hardware list is there something I am missing. I figured it should pop right in an boot up the laptop and windows should install it I can not even makle it past boot up
