Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi Anyone!

I have formatted my HDD and tried to reinstall win 7 home pro (64 bit) and it has all reinstalled except my ability to network.

The following devices show up in the device manager with warning triangles under 'other devices'

-Ethernet Controller

-Network Controller

-Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller

I'm stumped because normally I'd use the driver toolkit to download missing drivers, but without these devices I don't seem able to connect to wireless or LAN cable.

I've tried some of the drivers on the hp website but I keep getting errors telling me I have the wrong OS etc. Trial and error is getting nowhere... any ideas?

Device ID for ethernet controller is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1502&SUBSYS_179B103C&REV_04

Device ID for Network controller is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_422B&SUBSYS_11018086&REV_3E

The links you provided do not work.  Error message comes up "Server Not found"   .

@rick45 :

HP eliminated the business PC support site in April of 2017, and merged it with the consumer support site.

As a result, any links to the old business support site (which are what I posted here) no longer work.

So, I am not surprised in the least by your observation.
