Thank you for your quick response. You are correct it does sound like your wireless radio. I think it would be best if you contacted HP technical support for repair options.

Dear AXshun,

 

my dv 7 does not show the wireless card but on the right of the keyboard close to the screen there is the signal in orange color but it  not a button how can I make it on using any key
