Geek squad has updated windows 10; reinstalled the driver for the wifi and all was well on April 25; Today April 26 wifi failed after opening and using internet; diagnostics show only ethernet hardware and driver present; network card is not found in device manager and not able to correct running trouble shooter;
Question 1) how do I bring card back into operation; 2) which driver is correct as there are 2 wireless network drivers shown as realtech?
Thanks,
WEG 697

Hello @WEG697,
Try performing system Restore to the unit working date. Below document will help.

Try installing this driver and see if that helps :

Thanks for the suggestions. The windows restore sounds like the best option. But I understand from Geek Squad that Windows 10 had issues with wifi from first releases. My windows 10 install was in September of 2016 as a fix to other problems with prior os.
Question: Do you know if I will/should install updates to Windows 10 once I do the restore?
What does the exe file (sp73310.exe) do if card is not present in device manager?
Best,

GBL84, Thank you, I followed the instructions and got a partial restore. It was enough to bring back the wifi adapter to the device manager listing and it is now working again. I expect that some MS Windows 10 update that was necessary was not restored to the same point, but it seems to not have caused any major problems yet. I also recorded the wifi adapter type /name.
Best regards,
