We have to know the exact model number in order to answer your question.
Below is the product specs page for that model notebook.
If it had bluetooth, it would be listed under the section labeled Wireless Connectivity.
Since it is not listed there, then that specific model does not come with bluetooth.
For example, if you look at the product specs page for the 2000-410us, you will see that that model comes with bluetooth as it is listed under the section labeled wireless connectivity.

There is no bluetooth listed for HP 2000-2C11NR, that means wireless mouse cannot work, correct? This laptop refuses to shake hands with microsoft mouse that was used on older laptop. In other words we are taking steps backward?

If the mouse is infact bluetooth then you are correct. That particular computer model does not come with bluetooth capability and therefore would not have the ability to pair with the mouse.
You could use something like an HP Wireless Mobile Mouse it uses an Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless technology for less interference and longer range of operation to work anywhere. Unlike a bluetooth mouse the wireless mobile mouse comes with a USB Wireless Micro-receiver.
In the future when you buy an HP Notebook or PC, my suggestion would be to shop online through the HP Shopping Website. Shopping online allows you to customize the laptop to your desires and needs. Most have 802.11b/g/n WLAN included in the price and for a little more you can add the bluetooth function.
Hope the information at least helps !!
