Hello everyone,

some days my notebook hp 250 g3 does not connect to your home network. Before all worked perfectly. All other devices, tablet, phone, work correctly on the home network. The notebook connects perfectly to the network with a LAN cable. I tried to install new drivers but unfortunately the problem remains. The error message is: can not connect to this network. I tried to reset the router but unfortunately the situation does not change. what can I do?

I have another problem but do not know if this is the right section. I'll try anyway. : D
In device manager I have conflicts that can not be corrected. I also installed HP Support Assistant, but you can not even see them. In the attached screen shot.

Thanks to all

Dear Customer,

Welcome and Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Forum

It looks like you are not able to connect to the Wireless Network with your Notebook

Please read the tips and steps shown below, find out what is relevant to your current situation and try

performing some steps which might help resolving the issue

1. Check for the Wireless Light, Try turning ON the Wireless by pressing the Wireless Button

2. Check if Wireless[WLAN] is enabled in BIOS

3. Check if you have yellow "!" mark or red "x" mark for Wireless Adapter under Device Manager

Note: Right Click on the Adapter, Uninstall the driver and restart the Unit[Windows will load the drivers again]

4. Check the last time wireless was working fine and perform System Restore, Reset the BIOS to setup defaults by

tapping F10 Key under BIOS

5. Power OFF the Unit, Remove the AC Adapter & Battery, Press and hold the Power Button for 1 full minute

6. You can also download and install the latest BIOS Update for the Unit from HP Support Site

7. Uninstall the Wireless Drivers again from Device Manger and this time download and re-install the drivers from

the HP Support Site

8. If you are using HP Wireless Assistant on your Unit, Please uninstall the same and re-install it again

9. Check if your Wireless Card detects any other Wireless Network nearby, in that case delete the existing wireless

profile and re-create the same

10. Incase if all these steps doesn't fix the issue, you can try removing and reseating the Wireless Card on the Unit

Note: Please do this step only if you are comfortable doing it

Hope this helps, for any further queries reply to the post and feel free to join us again

hello,

thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately, I did all the steps but the result does not change.
Notebook connected with lan cable but not with wifi. I also downloaded the HP Wireless Assistant software but unfortunately it does not see any network card (can not detect it because I have windows8.1). I will post the screen shot. In device manager does not appear to be any kind of conflict. I downloaded all the new drivers but unfortunately the situation does not change. What do I do?

Press the F12 key on the keyboard and see if the wireless light comes on green of if it is amber.

If it is not able to turn on the wireless, then check in the BIOS if the WLAN is enabled.

Click on " Kudos Star " icon on left hand side if resolved.
