HP Pavilion 11-h010nr x2 PC (Touch Screen not working)

Product Name: HP Pavilion 11-h010nr x2 PC

OS: Windows 8

 

I have a HP Pavilion 11-h010nr x2 PC for about 20 days now. I noticed that the touch screen function is not working. I did run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) tool and the touch screen worked during this time. I asume the problem must be Windows 8. Any help would be greatly appricated.

Thanks so much for your offer of help, but the HP technicians suggested that I send the system in for repair.

Hi pipwax,

 

I saw your post regarding the touchscreen problems and I have a couple of ideas. I have included a document below with some troubleshooting. If that doesn't work there is another link to a download to help with a similar issue in Windows 8.1 but the downloads work for Windows 8.
