How do you resolve the 1-blink "CPU not functional" error code on the tx2-1275dx model?

Does a new CPU need to be installed to eliminate the 1-blink CPU not functional code? What has to be done to resolve this issue once and for all?

If the  LEDs blink 1 time when its powered ON, its a CPU failure or chances could be that motherboard also may require a replacement. You can find more info here
