Hello,
I need to downgrade my HP G60-235DX to windows xp because vista is killing me. I have read the forums and can only find downgrade solutions for other models. Can anyone help me the whole process as I sound like I need Xp drivers and slipstream instructions.
Thanks,
Tical

Hi,
First make Vista Beckup. Informations how to do it here.
Update Your Bios here.
Now You need to slipstream Your Sata drivers (only ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller) with nLite.
Here is guide how to do it and here are Sata drivers for You. Just unrar this drivers with winrar.
Be sure also that You are using WinXP SP2 version. If you haven't got SP2 version here you can download this service pack
and here You have got guide how to slipstream this file with Your system again by nLite.
In this program You can even burn Your new XP cd with this driver.

Hello thanks for the reply. I was unable to download the Bios update. I kept getting an error stating that the link was not a directory. IT there anyway you can send me a different link or the file zipped to my email address. If you do email it can you email it to my personal email address which is trusystemsinc@gmail.com? I signed up using my work email but since I plan on doing this over the weekend I will not have access to my work email. I originally used Tical as my screen name but for some reason it would not let me use it today. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tical

I just retried the Bios Link with no luck. I can get to the download page but when I click download it give: 550 /pub/softpaq/sp43001-43500/sp43030.exe: Not a directory. error.
I also get that for:
HP Quick Launch Buttons
Synaptics Touchpad
Conexant HD Audio Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP
MS-UAA
Thanks,
Pete

I will reply when I am finished to confirm either if it worked or if it didn't
Thanks again,
