Greetings
I have a HP G62, it is supposed to be bluetooth enabled, according to the spec and the shop where I bought it from. However when trying to activate bluetooth I get this message
"Windows was unable to transfer some files
The file could not be sent because the connection could not be esablished. Check to make sure the bluetooth radio is plugged in", also I cannot detect it on my mobile phone either, help pls x

Hi:
Check in your device manager. If the Bluetooth device is present it will be listed there toward the top. If it is not listed there, restart your PC, enter the system setup menu by striking the F10 key a couple of times at the HP splash screen.
Check your device configuration menu and see if there is a bluetooth device listed and set to the enabled setting. If it is present and enabled then exit out of the BIOS and check to see if you have a program called HP Wireless Assistant. If you do, more than likely the bluetooth device is turned off in that application. Just turn it on by clicking on the "Turn on" button.
If there is no bluetooth device listed in your BIOS, then your PC does not have one.
You can get an relatively inexpensive USB Bluetooth adapter at any computer store.
