After replacing my computer tower (with a newer one with Windows 7) I needed to get help from HP to activate my printer: HP Photosmart 7350 by installing a substitute driver (Deskjet 5550 series (Hpa). Now my printer works great, but I cannot print BORDERLESS photos.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hello Frank-Di, You might try downloading and installing the HP Photo Creations application from this Link .
Just select the Free Windows Tab for the proper download.
This software is Windows 7 compatible, and may have the option to print borderless photos.
It may be worth a try.

Thanks, Hans.
HP Photo Creations can indeed print borderless photos (depending on the printer). From the home screen, click the Full Catalog button, then the Print at Home tab, and then the Prints & Posters button. Then click Continue to load the photos you want to print. You can load photos from your computer or directly from online services such as Flickr and Facebook.
"Prints" are standard prints, in sizes from 4x6 to 13x19 (for people with realy big printers!). "Collage Prints" offer the same sizes, but let you combine multiple images with text and graphics on colorful backgrounds. It's like a built-in matte effect. HP Photo Creations also offers simple image touch-up tools such as cropping and brightening.
You can see lots of examples in our Facebook gallery. Please let us know if we can help further.

Hans,
Thank You for a quick response.
That is where I have been printing from. It may have to do with the substitute driver I'm using to get my printer to work at all.
My printer, HP Photosmart 7350 has printed MANY borderless prints before changing to Windows 7 and the new substitute driver( Deskjet 5550series (Hpa)
Now when i set up to print, even the preview shows a border, and I cannot get a preview without a border
Frank.

Hello Frank-Di, I checked for any other drivers or software that would work on your printer, but could not find any.
I have a HP Photosmart C5280 and have HP Photo Creations and I am able to print borderless photos.
The software and drivers are for Windows 7 however. I don't know of any way to get around this limitation.

Same issue here. :-(
After a clean ne install of Windows 7 (coming from XP) I cannot print borderless anymore on my C5280 printer.
I have tried a lot of different software (e.g. Photoshop, Windows Explorer, PhotoSmart, Surething,Nero, etc.) but nothing helps.
I noticed that it is a driver issue. For example a photo printed on a CD always has 4mm whitespace on top in the current situation. But if I print on 10x15 cm HP everyday photo paper, a landscape photo is rotated by the driver and so is the 4mm whitespace too.
(photopaper lies in portait in the tray that's why it needs to be rotated by the driver) .
Can anyone help?
Daniël
