you can look up the recent update
looking at your windows updates list
and take notes what what installed
and to find the updates to uninstal
you will find in the control panel
Xp - Add and Remove
Vista - Programs and features
once you see all the software and updates
you will see a list of them
if you cant see the microsoft update
look for the square empty box and if
if it neeeds to be checked or unchecked
and also it will show the dates installed beside
the softwares and app and patches
depending what is causing your problems
remove one thing at a time till you find
the problem but
when window updates will see that
you dont have it when your computer
doing window update
but while you are at the windows update
and tells you need to update
remove the check mark beside the patches
that you do not want to install
good luck
good points or advice..
Aslo if the questions or issues solved please check it

Thanks and you are welcome _____ Rick
