Cannot eliminate error message USB Device Not Recognized

After removing a thumb drive from the  USB port, this message began to appear every 30 seconds along with a beep.  All of our USB connected devices are working. I tried to disable the Legacy USB but it's not on my Pavilion 8430f.  Any suggestions.
