Cannot locate Wireless adapter Pavilion p6240f Desktop PC

Hello,

I cannot find the wireless adapter.

The wan is available but anytime I try to add wireless I get a  hardware not found message.

What do  I need to do to get the wireless back?

Have you tried reinstalling the wireless driver using Recovery Manager in the Start Menu?

I loaded the wireless driver from the Recovery Manager and still cannot find the wireless.

Hello all,

Today I downloaded a new driver from HP and tried to install it.

I got the following message:

YOUR SYSTEM DOES NOT MEET MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS INSTALLATION.  UPDATE HAS BEEN CANCELED   9996.

Any ideas out there?

Only 2 scenarios I can think of. 1.The wireless adapter has failed. 2.It has lost connection and needs to be reseated.
