260 G1 Mini
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just got my 260 G1 Mini from an online German vendor and the BIOS language is set to German. I can't seem to find a way to change the BIOS language to English (or French).

Haven't tried the BIOS Configuration Utility since my system is not in the compatible hardware list.

Tried flashing the BIOS with the latest version on the US HP site, didn't work.

Tried clearing CMOS (both by pressing the CMOS clear button and by removing the battery) but the BIOS defaults to German anyway.

What can I do to get it in a language I understand?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Called support and the solution is pretty simple: juste press F8 within the BIOS, easy as that.

Why is this documented nowhere?! Hope that now, at least, this will help out other people with this stupid problem.

Oh my god, THANK YOU.  I've used the HP online contact form and and posted elsewhere here with no reply - and it's so simple!

Finally, I'm 100% happy with my PC, which I accidentally ordered from a German supplier (who were selling on a UK shopping site).
