Compaq Presario SR113WM? Anyone else have one?

Hi, new to this, so bear with me.  I have had the desktop Compaq Presario SR113WR  for about 5 years, and I love it.  My question is:  When I start my pc, it comes up and tells me "Your user profile was not loaded correctly!", lately and I wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue, and if possible, how to fix it.  When i shut down the pc, i have to totally put in all of my passwords, etc, nothing is saved.  Please help!!  Thanks in advance.

Hello LESLEEGG, Can you advise the version of the operating system you are using?

 

It may be possible to perform a Windows Restore and go back to a point before you started to experience this error.

Hi,

 

You shouldn't have to put in your password at shutdown.  You might have a virus or malware on your PC.  I recommend that you perform a full system restore using the HP recovery disks.  Backup your data to external media first to do the recovery.
