Computer switch not working although green light at the back is on

My computer encountered a lot of problems , it started when BIOS did not accept default loading, I changed the CMOS battery but it didn't work. Tried to restore thru system recovery but also failed. Now I have continuous power supply but computer is not working. Activity light in from doest not light while the green light at the back is lighted.

Dante, welcome to the forum.

 

When requesting help, you should always include the make/model of the computer and/or monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications of the them.

 

It sounds like you may have a failed power supply unit (PSU).  Here is a guide to help you with your diagnosis.
