Event viewer windows 7 home edition

Hi Can Anybody help me on this poser when I open the event viewer all I get is              "MMC Could not creat the snap in"

 

Any help would be welcome

Enter the following commands from the RUN window:

 

cmd

sfc/scannow  -----> this will verify your critical system files and attempt repairs

exit

 

This might correct the problem.
