HP Linkup

Hello Everyone!!!!!!!  I'm new here so bear with me.  I'm having a problem with HP Linkup.  I decided that I didn't want HP Linkup on the desktop so I right clicked and clicked on delete and when it asked me if I was sure I wanted to delete the HP Linkup shortcut I clicked yes.  Now when I go to the start menu and type in HP Linkup in the search box it won't show up.  How do I get HP Linkup back on the desktop??

Re: HP Linkup

Chris remember a shortcut is not the actual program. You need to go to
Control Panel and under Programs there is a selection for Uninstall Programs. Self explanatory after that.

Re: HP Linkup

[ Edited ]

Unsettling error:

I'm installing linkup for the sender computer, I click "help me create a username and password" in the install wizard, and a firefox window opens up with multiple tabs, one for each directory on my hard drive the installer was apparently trying to access:

tab 1: "firefox can't find the file at /C:/Program"

tab 2: (files.com opened okay)

tab 3: "Firefox can't find the server at www.(x86).com."

tab 4: (linkup.com worked okay)

tab 5: (aaand sender.com worked okay)

So I go to that spot in my hard drive and try to open it myself, but nothing seems to respond.

I think I'll just invest in a USB transfer cable: this isn't helping my confidence.
