Re: HP Pavilion #ED903AA

Here are the specs for your HP Pavilion a1219h Desktop Computer. According to the specs, your computer is almost 7 years old. Please advise us if you clean out the "dust bunnies" inside your computer on a regular basis. If little to no cleaning and/or maintenance have been performed, your computer may be filled with dust that can easily cause the system to overheat and shutdown.

Re: HP Pavilion #ED903AA

anyosua,

1) What is the case resting on? hardboard or carpet.

Did you clean out the front intake. You need to see pg2 and 4 of the service manual.http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00311110.pdf

Unless you removed the front panel, you could not get to this area.

Re: HP Pavilion #ED903AA

Everything that I try didn’t work, but finale I found  the problem: the 4 spring screws that hold the MCU heat sink unit are broken at the end, ( the plastic housing that holds the heat sink secure is broken) and I need a new one or a new heat sink assembly. Can some body let me know where can I find the exact replacement?
