HP Pavilion H8-1220 and battlefeild 3 compatibilty

Hello,just got me a H8-1220 pc.several people said Battlefeild 3 should run on this machine.but a benchmarker site with a game selector said it will run on min specs,but nvidia benchmarker said it will not and says I need a NV GTX8800+

so has anyone actually run bf3 on this,and tell me how it runs?

comp specs

amd fx-8100 (8 core)

win7 64b

10gb ddr3 ram

nvidia geforce gt 530 2gb memory.ddr3

just dont want to waste money on software that cant work on this machine.

Hi BillyBob,

The NVIDIA GT 530 should run BF3 on the low-medium settings. You may or may not like your gaming experience using the NVIDIA GT 530.

You are going to need a bigger video card and possibly a bigger power supply (depending on the size of PSU in your PC) if you want better video quality and increased frames per second with BF3.

I run BF3 on high to Ultra using the NVIDIA 460 in my e9280t system.

Review the following sugggestions:

Sapphire Radeon 6850 ---- $135 after rebate, 128 GB/s --->probably the best price/performance

EVGA NVIDIA 560            ---- $160 after rebate, 128.2 GB/s

Corsair CX600 PSU ---- $50 after rebate
