Hello everybody,

Hello everybody.pls my hp G62 has a fault.when i turn it on ,both the power and wireless(F12) LED turn on but turn off after 1-2 seconds.during this time,the fan spine and then stop too.the charging LED turns on when adapter is connected

When turning your computer on it will not fully boot, is that correct? I will try to help you with this issue.

 

Can you please provide the model of the computer you have, If you are unsure where to locate that information have a look at this link for help if needed.

Yes.it will not fully boot.the specification are as follows, product number:XF458EA#ABE. Model:G62-460SS. Serial number:[Personal Information Removed].thanks

If you haven’t already tried, do a hard reset.

 

  1. Remove all connections including the battery and AC adapter
  2. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
  3. Once done reinsert only the battery and AC adapter

 

 

Once done try and boot the notebook and  see what happens.

If you feel comfortable try reseating the RAM and hard drive. That simply means removing the components and then reinserting them. Note please make sure you rid yourself of any static.

 

Here is the service manual for your notebook. On page 42 shows how to remove the hard drive and on page 50 shows you how to remove the RAM.
