I have looked everywhere and can't figure out how to change the text under the desktop icons from white to black. Also, I don't like the shadowed look either. Just want solid black. I'm sure it must be something easy but I give up. Can anyone help?

Are you running Vista or Windows 7?

We just got a new computer and I thought someone said this one has Windows 7. However, just minutes ago I was doing a search about why the new FreeCell game seemed so easy and found a ton of folks complaining about the Vista version. So--I guess I'm no longer sure. How can I find out which I have? It is a Hewlitt Packard, if that helps.
Update: I just checked under Computer (Systems Properties) and that shows Windows 7.
