I have a new Hp and it has windows 7. I can not find where to block e-mail addresses.

How can I block e-mail using windows 7?  I have done it with XP in my old computer but can not find how to do it on this new one.

I see you have posted before.. Welcome again to the forum!

Blocking email is a function of your email program, not of Windows 7 itself (or of XP).

You need to call up your favorite Browser, maybe Internet Explorer 9, or Firefox, or Chrome. 

From within the Browser, log into your email in your normal way, however you do that.  Once you are logged into your email account, you can block email addresses using the tools that you have used in the past.

If you want to use Windows Live email, which is an email program you can use in Windows 7, you need to download and install the program so you can use it. 

Do not install Windows Live (or any of this) if you do not know what it is. 

If you do  not recognize it, you do not need it.

Be Aware:

Be careful when choosing what to load from this "essentials" package.  The installation is sneaky and will try to get to you load all sorts of things... stuff you may not want or need.  You can "select" what you want and choose JUST to install the MAIL program if you want it.  The mail program is called Windows Live.
