I have an hp 6500 E710a All in One and since upgrades to Windows 7

After my computer did all of it's upgrades to Windows 7 Professional, my hp 6500 will not print. I have already uninstalled, reinstalled more times than I want to think about. When I go to try and print, it tells me before you can print anything you need to install a printer first. I try to follow the steps to do that, again, and receive a  you are not allowed to add a printer. Every time this has happened it tells me I need to install aprinter before I can print, and then I immediately get told that I am not allowed to install a printer. What is the problem here? 

 

I have a  hp Pavilion a550y desktop running Windows 7 Professional and also a hp Pavilion dm4 laptop with the sameWin7Pro

 

I have the same thing happen with either of these computers

 

I would really like to know what has to be done to get this fixed. Printer was working great up until four or five months ago. Then it seems like neither one of these computers is communicating with the printer anymore. I did already remove any trace of Vista from both computers, no change. If someone can help me with how to fix this problem, I will be very thankful for getting this corrected.

Did you install the WIN7 full featured software package?

Yes, I instelled both full feature and quick installs, multiple times and uninstalled multiple times. No change, same non communication between the printer and the latop

You need to describe exactly how each is connected.

1) What cables are connected where?

2) USB, Ethernet, is Wi-Fi present?

3) Is printer sharing enabled?

 

I am no expert with Wi-Fi. Just starting to grasp it.
