Keyboard is not responding to input strokes. Currently using on-screen keyboard. Please HELP!!!

Keyboard is not responding to typing or input. Currently using on-screen keyboard. Please HELP!!! num lock,etc. is working ie. lights go on /off. Sys.Info: Win7; Omni 100 50/50

The first thing to do is to try that keyboard with another desktop to see if it is faulty.
Is yours a wireless/bluetooth or USB keyboard?
Try a different keyboard.
