Lost HP Bing toolbar

My HP Bing tool bar disappeared from the screen...............in it's place is a message saying " MSN is updating content...please wait". I have been waiting for a week. Called HP tech today for 1 1/2 hours and he couldn't figure it out. On the HP Support site I found the toolbar but I would have to pay for it......not going to happen. Computer is a HP Touchsmart 300-1205Z all in one and is only 3 months old. Hope someone has some ideas out there. Thanks.

Hello edwardpop, I am not familuar with the HP Bing tool bar, but see if this Link can provide you with some useful information.

Launch IE and go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and then select Reset.  Then go here and select Bing Bar.

I tried this but it didn't work. After I hit reset it did not say Bing anywhere. The screen just said that if you hit reset it will reset just about everything to the way it was when the computer was new. Thanks anyway. I also went to Manage add ons and it shows the Bing bar enabled but there is nothing on the screen.  So, I really don't understand this at all.
