Mouse Button

How do I change my mouse from 2 clicks to 1 click to open a file. I've done the one click so long that it would make it a lot easier to use the same method. I've looked all over the control panel, but cannot find out how to do this. Thanks

Re: Mouse Button

Hi,

You can try one of these:

  • Start - Computer    OR    Windows Explorer  - Tools - Folder Options - General tab - Single Click to Open an Item
  • Control Panel - Mouse - look for Single Click or Point to Select Settings.

Regards.

Re: Mouse Button

Thanks for the info. When I go into Control Panel and open mouse, all it show is double click. I guess HP doesn't allow you to single click. Thanks again, Gunga

Re: Mouse Button

Hi,

Have you tried the first method ? It should look like this, just select the one you want & apply/ok.
