My HP Pavilion p6-2000ukm is not recognised by HP.

I wish to check whether I can add a Firewire card to my computer but however I type the description in, my HP Pavilion p6-2000ukm desktop is not recognised on the HP support website. Phoning HP was no help as they told me to contact PC World, from whom I purchased the computer . PC World KnowHow couldn't help and suggested I take my computer to my local store! Can anyone help please?

Here are the specs to a p6-2000uk, if your system is anything like it... you have 3 PCIe x1 slots with which you could install a Firewire card. For more detailed information, please provide the computer's product number. The product number should look something like "H0L23EA".

Thanks Frank for your swift response. Yes my system is very similar. The Product number is HOL14EA#ABU. Any recommended card?

The product # H0L14EA doesn't come up on HP's website but when I search their Partsurfer, it returns the description as "HP PAVILION P6-2000UKM BNDL PC UK". Reviewing the HP Partsurfer information for both the p6-2000ukm and the p6-2000uk indicates they are the same computer except that the "m" is bundled with a monitor(?).

Most of these PCIe x1 1394 Firewire cards for Amazon.uk should fill your needs.
