Need New Video Card Upgrade. Old One doesn't support shade 2 and won't work with TheSims3 Help.

I just need to know what upgrade of a video card must I put in my pc to play TheSims3. My hp Pavilion a1110n Desktop pc has the original video graphics adaptor in it and it just doesn't cut it for Thesims3. it won't let me play until I upgrade.

Product Specifications

 

The Sims 3 System Requirements (128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0)


You only have a 250W PSU (Power Supply) so it will make upgrading the video card hard to do unless you also upgrade the PSU.

 

This is the video card I would recommend: EVGA 512-P1-N724-LR GeForce 8400 GS 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Video Card, but you can browse this page for additional cards that might work.

This is the PSU I would recommend: SILVERSTONE ST400 400W ATX 12V 2.2 Power Supply
