There is no option to boot from usb device, in bios, on Compaq Presario CQ5320F Desktop PC. I did not see a bios update for this pc on HP/Compaq website. I thought all modern bioses had this option. Is there a patch or workaround?

- Look in the bios to see what is available for boot order devices. If you don't see USB then you are probably out of luck.
- Your USB device on this PC is not recognized as bootable. Perhaps test your device on another PC to ensure that it is been built correctly.
- It's very difficult to build a USB device to boot a Windows OS but it's fairly easy to build a Windows bootable installation USB device.
- Hit the ESC key at boot time to bring on the boot device selection menu. What do you see?
