Omni 220 - Memory upgrade

I bought a HP Omni 220 All in One PC this week. It has only a 2GB RAM memory.
I bought a compatible 4GB RAM for upgradation.
Now, I am not sure if I should try upgrading on my own or call a HP Support person, because there was a warranty seal that said the warranty would become void in case I break it.

What should I do now?

Re: Omni 220 - Memory upgrade

Upgrading memory won't void your warranty. The warranty simply won't cover the new memory if they don't work (although they may have their own separate warranty themselves).

Here is a guild that will help you with replacing the memory:

Re: Omni 220 - Memory upgrade

Thanks for the instruction guide.

With regard to warranty. There is a seal across the back of my monitor which would be broken if I tried to remove the back cover.

 This is my concern.
