HELP. THIS MORNING MY COMPUTER WENT NUTS ON ME. WHEN I CLICK ON ANY PROGRAM LIKE PC HELP,INTERNET,GAMES ANYTHING THE MEDIA CENTRE OPENS EVERY TIME. I AM TRYING TO RESTORE TO YESTERDAY BUT THE SAME THING COMES UP. WHAT DID THE OLD GUY DO WRONG. CAN U HELP PLS.

Hi,
It sounds as if you have some malware or a trojan on your PC. What were you using for an internet protection software?

Unfortunately It isn't good enough to keep trojans and malware out. If you can still go online. Go to ESET.com and use their free online scanner. You will have to disable the AVG first. Run the online scanner and it will, with your permission, rid your PC of Trojans, Malware, Adware and viruses that it find.
If you still want to use only a free antivus program afterwards and you don't have any hacked programs on your PC, then a better option is Microsoft security Essentials (a freebie from Microsoft). It is better than AVG.
